Ingredients

Sulphur
Sulphur is a naturally occurring mineral. Mankind has known sulphur (or sulfur) and its many medicinal benefits for centuries. One is for skin treatment. Sulphur is the traditional remedy for various skin diseases like seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, acne, and scabies. Sulphur has antiseptic properties. It is a natural antimicrobial. It kills germs, bacteria, and fungi in our skin.
Sulphur is also a keratolytic which means it dissolves or breaks down keratins (protein that is a major component in making up the outer layer of skin). It exfoliates the skin : shedding dead skin cells and promoting new skin cells.
Another attribute that is beneficial for oily skin is that Sulphur works in reducing skin’s natural oil production.
Bio Sulphur, which is in Deo Sulphur Transparent, is Sulphur in liquid form and is easier and faster to be absorbed by the skin.

TCC
TCC is a common antibacterial and antifungal agent that has been used for over 40 years.

Olive Oil
Olive Oil is a natural emollient. It conditions and moisturizes the skin to keep it soft and supple. Olive Oil is also an antioxidant and possesses healing attribute.

Rose Extract
Rose extract is a natural astringent and has anti-inflammatory, soothing properties. It helps keep your skin soft and healthy.

Cucumber Extract
Although cucumber is widely known to have refreshing yet soothing effects for skin, it actually has many other benefits. With its high water content, cucumber also hydrates your skin, keeping it moisturized and cool. It has mild astringent and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as skin tightening properties.

Seaweed Extract
Seaweed has anti-aging benefits which includes helping improve skin’s tone, firmness, and elasticity. Seaweed extract absorbs water, so it acts as a hydrating agent. Furthermore, it is also an antioxidant which helps regenerate skin cells.

Climate Change Spreads Infectious Diseases Worldwide
Another simple routine that is essential in fighting the spread of infectious diseases is by hand washing with soap. Hands are the principal carriers of disease-causing germs, and it is a fact that simply washing hands with water is not enough to kill the germs. You need to wash and scrub your hands thoroughly with soap. These are particularly the times for hand washing with soap :
• Before, during and after preparing food
• Before eating food
• Before and after caring for someone who is sick
• Before and after treating a cut or wound
• After using the toilet
• After changing diapers or cleaning up a child who has used the toilet
• After blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing
• After touching an animal or animal waste
• After handling pet foods or pet treats
• After touching garbage
The right way to wash hands with soap :
• Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold) and apply soap
• Rub your hands together to make a lather and scrub them well; be sure to scrub the backs of your hands, between fingers, and under your nails
• Continue rubbing your hands for about 20 seconds
• Rinse your hands well under running water
• Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them

Acne and You
Acne
Acne is one of the most common skin diseases. Almost everyone has acne breakout at some point of his life, although the severity and frequency may vary.
How does acne develop ?
Simply put, acne happens when there’s a plug in the hair follicles under the skin surface. There are oil glands, called sebaceous glands, in the skin which produce oily substance called sebum to lubricate the skin and hair and are connected to the skin pores in the surface by hair follicles. In normal condition, sebum also carries dead skin cells to the surface through the follicles and out through skin pores.
Sometimes, the hair, sebum and dead skin cells form into a plug and clog up the follicle and pore. This is when acne happens. Furthermore, this plug encourages bacteria (specifically Propionibacterium acnes or P. acnes for short) to grow and multiply much more than normally which in turn would trigger inflammation and infection which would certainly worsen the acne.
Although the exact cause of acne is still unknown, there are some conditions that are believed to trigger excessive sebum production which then would increase the risk of acne :
• Hormonal changes (during teen years, pregnancy, menstrual cycle, etc)
• Hereditary
• Some medication and greasy make up
There are some beauty routine that can be done to help care for skin with acne :
• Wash your face gently twice daily and after exercising. Excessive washing and scrubbing will not help with acne. On the contrary, it could irritate or aggravate the skin.
• Use only oil-free or water-based make up and cosmetics, including moisturizer especially if the skin dries out. Look for “non-comedogenic” products which mean they’re less likely to clog up your pores
• Avoid touching your skin, and do not squeeze or pinch the acne
• Regularly wash your hair and keep it off your face

Sulphur as anti-acne
Sulphur is widely-known as an anti-acne and has been used as one for centuries. How does Sulphur work against acne ?
• Sulphur kills bacteria including P. acnes and keeps their presence in the skin to a minimal
• Sulphur helps in shedding and removing dead skin cells, thus clearing clogged pores and encourages the growth of new skin cells.
• Sulphur also helps in reducing excess sebum. Continuing usage, therefore, helps prevent acne to develop in the future
How does Deo Sulphur help treat acne and care for acne-prone skin?
• First of all, Deo Sulphur cleans the skin from dirt, pollutants and other impurities accumulated during the day
• Sulphur (and TCC in Deo Sulphur Solid) kills the bacteria in the skin that causes inflammation, infection and irritation
• Sulphur as a keratolytic helps remove dead skin cells that clog up pores and promote new skin cells, thus encouraging the healing process and keeping the skin healthy
• Sulphur helps reduce excessive sebum production so that acne is less likely to appear
• Moisturizers and Olive Oil help counter the drying effect of Sulphur
• Natural extracts in Deo Sulphur Transparent help hydrate the skin, speed up the healing process, and keep skin soft and healthy.
When you have acne breakout, you can use Deo Sulphur Solid with Sulphur 10% and TCC twice daily for faster relief and treatment. When the breakout disappears, and you feel that Deo Sulphur Solid dries out your skin too much, you can continue by using the milder Deo Sulphur Transparent for your daily face care.
Deo Sulphur is also effective to help fight and prevent other common skin diseases like itch, rash, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, scabies, and psoriasis. Sulphur fights bacteria and fungi which caused most of these skin problems. Sulphur even helps reduce body odor which is caused by bacteria in our skin breaking down protein in our sweat into acids.
